Transaction in Own Shares

Further to RNS number 5437L, Hill & Smith PLC announces that on 22 April 2024, its Employee Benefit Trust ("EBT") purchased an additional 5,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company, bringing its total purchase to 35,522. The average price paid was £18.687343 per share. The EBT is in the process of acquiring up to a further 39,478 ordinary shares and the Company will update the market again in due course.

All of the purchased shares will be used to satisfy the vesting of shares under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plans or Executive Share Option Scheme.

Following the purchase, the EBT holds 73,662 ordinary shares, representing 0.1% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The issued share capital as at today is 80,390,246 ordinary shares.
