Highland Gold Mining Limited26 April 2006 Board Changes Moscow, 26 April 2006 - Highland Gold Mining Limited, the AIM- listed Russiangold producer, today announces the resignation of Mr Denis Alexandrov, FinancialDirector, who is leaving the company on 1 May 2006 to pursue other businessinterests. The Board of Directors is grateful for Denis's contribution in developing thefinancial practices for the business, strengthening relations with capitalmarkets, for his loyal and professional work over 3 years. The Company will seek to appoint a new financial director as soon as possibleand an announcement will be made in due course.
