Transfer of Treasury Shares

Headlam Group plc ('Headlam') announces that on 4 July 2008, the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employee share scheme allotments.

12,172 ordinary shares at 197.00 pence per share 

Following the above transfer of treasury stock, Headlam held 2,249,646 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 83,114,097.
