Half year pre-close statement
Headlam Group plc ("Headlam"), Europe's leading floorcoverings distributor, announces a trading update prior to the release of its interim financial results on Friday 19 August 2011.
Total group revenue for the six months to 30 June 2011 increased by 5.5% compared with the previous year.
Like for like revenues in the UK increased by 7.4% during the period and on the Continent, reduced by 4.5%.
Based on the group's revenue performance, earnings for the six months to 30 June 2011 will be ahead of the Board's first half expectations.
