(AIM:HDY) the exploration and production company withassets in India and Nigeria, is pleased to announce the appointment of DineshDattani, FCA, as Finance Director with effect from July 1, 2007. Mr Dattani (57) is a Chartered Accountant with over 28 years of both industryand corporate experience principally with upstream oil and gas companies inCanada many of which are have had significant overseas operations. Prior tojoining Hardy, Mr Dattani has served in senior finance capacities with companiesincluding Canoro Resources Ltd., Bow Valley Energy Ltd., Sherritt InternationalCorporation, and Home Oil Company Ltd. all of which are / were listed in eitherCanada and / or the United States. Mr Dattani joins Chief Executive, Mr Sastry Karra and Mr Yogeshwar Sharma aspart of Hardy's executive team. Hardy is also pleased to announce that following the appointment of Mr. Sharmaas President and CEO of Hardy's wholly owned subsidiary Hardy Exploration &Production (India) Inc, in April 2007, Mr Sharma has been appointed Group ChiefOperating Officer and will be responsible for all the operations of the HardyGroup.
