HaloSource Extends Strategic Partnership

BOTHELL, WA (US)-HaloSource, the clean water and antimicrobial technology company, has extended a stand-still agreement with a major multinational consumer goods company, to whom HaloSource is providing its class leading HaloPure® disinfection technology on an exclusive basis, for incorporation in certain gravity fed water purification devices currently being sold in China.

HaloSource signed a one year "stand-still" agreement for segments of the Chinese market in November 2012 and under the terms of the agreement's extension, the company has agreed to extend this period for a further year in exchange for a one time payment of US$500,000.

HaloPure media has been registered with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and is approved by the Chinese MoH (Ministry of Health) for use in drinking water purification.
