AGM Statement

At today's AGM where all resolutions were passed, Emmett O'Connell, Chairman of Great Western Mining Corporation PLC (the "Company" or "GWM") made the following statement:

"This has been a period of exceptional progress for the company. We have reported upon significant levels of positive exploratory work whilst increasing our area under claim to 70 square kilometres and have undertaken extensive exploratory work in our Nevada site. Moreover, we were delighted with the conclusions from our Competent Person's Report, summarised in the 12th August AIM Admission Document, which has reinforced our belief in the prospectivity of our claimed area."

"In August we raised £1 million at 11p per share which provides us with sufficient funds to take us through the initial stages of a two year programme of targeting and exploration leading to a resource estimate and bankable study. Mineralisation in our claimed area includes Copper, Silver, Gold and Uranium and we have started the process of obtaining planning approvals prior to our core hole drilling programme."
