DIRECTORATE CHANGE

GoldStone (AIM: GRL), the AIM quoted company focused on gold exploration in West and Central Africa, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Best as a Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect.

Jonathan has been involved in the mining industry for over 40 years in operational, financial, executive and non-executive capacities. From 1997 to 2005 he was an Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of AngloGold Ashanti Limited and is currently a non-executive director of Anglogold Ashanti Holdings Plc, a company which primarily holds the non-South African interests of the Anglogold Ashanti group. In addition to a number of other appointments, Jonathan is an independent non-executive director of Polymetal International plc, a Russian-based mining company listed on the London Stock Exchange, and is Chairman of the audit committee and a member of the remuneration committee.

He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators and holds an MBA degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
