Change of name
Update on issue of shares
GRIT is pleased to announce that further to shareholder approval of the change of name to GRIT Investment Trust plc, trading in the Company's ordinary shares of 2.5 pence each ("Existing Ordinary Shares") under the new name will commence today at 08.00.
The ticker of GRIT will remain the same, as will the Company's website address of www.grinvestmenttrust.com
In December 2020, the Company announced that it had issued 8,392,902 ordinary shares of 1 pence each (being ordinary shares in issue prior to the capital re-organisation which took effect on Monday 10 January 2022) at 1.5 pence per ordinary share pursuant to a fund raising and which would be admitted to trading following the lifting of the suspension of trading in the Company's shares. Accordingly, application has now been made for 839,290 Existing Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market for listed securities to commence on or around 17 January 2022 ("Admission").
