Sir Ian joined theBoard on 1 April 2006 and his resignation reflects his increasing commitments atWm Morrison Supermarkets PLC. Derek Netherton, Chairman of Greggs, said: "The Board has accepted Ian'sresignation with great regret, but recognises that it is inevitable in the lightof his growing time commitments elsewhere.
