TRADING UPDATE
Goldenport Holdings Inc. ("Goldenport" or "the Company"), (LSE: GPRT) the international shipping company that owns and operates a fleet of container and dry bulk vessels announces today the update on the trading of its fleet as of 23 July 2013.

Early termination of employment contract:
The Company has reached agreement with the charterers of vessel Sifnos for the early termination of the existing charter party agreement.
The initial employment contract provided for a daily charter hire rate of U.S.$17,700 for the period from January 2011 to December 2013 ( the "Initial Contract") at a time when the BDI index level was at approximately 1,700 units. During 2012, at a time when the BDI index had significantly decreased to approximately 700 units, the Initial Contract was modified providing for a new charter hire rate of U.S.$14,000 for a prolonged period from February 2012 to December 2016 ( the "Existing Contract"). The Existing Contract included a charterer's option to revert to the Initial Contract with a retrospective adjustment of the daily charter hire rate from February 2012.
The settlement amount for the early termination has been agreed at U.S.$1.76 million. Of this amount U.S.$0.86 million representing hire currently due under the Existing Contract is payable to the Company upfront in the form of cash and bunkers remaining onboard at re-delivery of the vessel and U.S.$0.9 million, as compensation for the early termination, payable in instalments over a twelve month period.
The charterer has performed approximately 85% of its contractual obligations under the Initial Contract paying the Company a significant premium to the spot market for a period of more than two and a half years.
Management believes that this agreement represents the best option for the Company. Despite the challenging market we retain high utilisation rates across the entire of our fleet. We remain confident for the supramax sector and given its current upward trend we believe the Company will be able to gain alternative profitable employment at the end of the current voyage.
INTERIM RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT
The Company's Interim Results for the six months ended 30 June 2013 are expected to be announced on Friday 30 August 2013.
