Goldenport Holdings Inc. ("Goldenport" or "the Company"), (LSE: GPRT) the international shipping company that owns and operates a fleet of container and dry-bulk vessels, announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the listing of 479,294 new ordinary shares of USD 0.01 each arising under the terms of the Company's Scrip Dividend Program as approved in the AGM held on 7 May 2009. These shares are expected to be admitted to the Official List on 20 May 2009 and will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary stock of the Company.
Immediately following admission, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue will be 70,591,653.
