Great Portland Estates plc appoints Non-Executive DirectorGreat Portland Estates plc announces that Vicky Jarman will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 February 2020 and will become a member of the Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees from that date.Vicky is currently a Non-Executive Director of Signature Aviation plc and Knight Frank LLP and will be stepping down from Knight Frank LLP in June 2020, at the end of her tenure. She has previously been a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committees of each of Equiniti Group plc, Hays plc and De La Rue plc and Senior Independent Director at Equiniti Group plc. Vicky started her career with KPMG and qualified as a Chartered Accountant before spending over 10 years with Lazard & Co Ltd, working in the Investment Banking team and then as Chief Operating Officer for the London and Middle East operations until 2009.
Commenting on the appointment, GPE Chairman Richard Mully said:
"I am delighted to welcome Vicky to GPE's Board with her significant financial, commercial and non-executive experience. The Board and I very much look forward to working with her over the coming years."
There are no additional matters that would require disclosure under LR 9.6.13 R in respect of Vicky Jarman.
