Industry leading platform for Good Energy's B2B business

Good Energy Group PLC, the 100% renewable electricity supplier and innovative energy services provider ("Good Energy" or "the Company"), announces an agreement with ENSEK Limited ("ENSEK") for the provision of a new software platform for its Business customers.

Investing for growth

ENSEK is one of the leading software suppliers to UK energy providers and will be providing the Company with a new state of the art billing system for their Business customer base. Significant investment was made in the domestic business earlier in the year with the implementation of the Kraken customer services platform.

The platform will support Good Energy's growth plans and to scale its Business operations in a cost-effective manner, with efficiency savings expected from lower costs to acquire, improved digital journeys and enhanced self-serve capability. The platform will increase Good Energy's ability to work with brokers. The platform will replace the existing business billing system.

Good Energy will use ENSEK's highly automated software as a service platform to better focus on its SME, Industrial & Commercial and Generation customers' needs. ENSEK's feature-rich platform simplifies the experience by providing a single customer view; from complex billing and pricing to managing the interlinked relationship between Import and Export customers.

The agreement with ENSEK in is line with the Company's strategic goals of lowering customer acquisition cost, improving customer retention and increasing overall customer lifetime value. The system will enable further digital and clean technology innovation of significant benefit to all Good Energy's Business customers. 

The initial contract is for 3 years and full implementation should complete in Q1 2021, with batches of accounts transitioning to the new ENSEK platform over the next 4 months.
