Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Goals Soccer Centres, the UK's premier operator of next generation outdoor 5-a-side soccer centres with 43 centres in the UK and one in Los Angeles, USA, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Short as non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Alex Short is currently Finance Director of A.G. Barr plc. Alex's previous roles include Group Finance Director of William Grant & Sons Holdings Ltd, Managing Director of William Grant & Sons Distillers Ltd, management consultant with Coopers & Lybrand and various management positions within Coca Cola Schweppes Beverages Ltd.

In addition to today's appointment, Goals Soccer Centres is seeking to further strengthen its Board with another non-executive director appointment. The Board have interviewed a number of candidates and hopes to make a further announcement in due course.
