Goals Soccer Centres plc

AGM Statement

The Annual General Meeting of Goals Soccer Centres plc ("Goals" or "the Company"), the premier operator of 'next generation' 5-a-side soccer centres with 44 centres across the UK and one in the USA, is being held at 11.30am today, 2 May 2014 at the offices of Canaccord Genuity, 88 Wood Street, London EC2V 7QR.

At the meeting Keith Edelman, Chairman, will make the following statement:

"On 10 March the Company raised approximately £11.4 million by way of a placing to provide sufficient funds to accelerate the controlled roll-out of new centres in the UK and US; and to improve the Company's capital structure. On 21 March 2014 the Company acquired a centre in Newcastle and remains on schedule to add one further centre during the year ending 31 December 2014 and three centres, including one in the US, in the year ending 31 December 2015.

In the period since we announced our results for the financial year ended 31 December 2013 trading has been satisfactory and in line with expectations. The Board remains confident of Goals' continued progress in 2014 and beyond."
