3 July 2007 GEONG International Limited ("GEONG" or "the Company") Board Appointment

GEONG International Limited (AIM: GNG) the AIM listed, Beijing based, provider of enterprise content management (ECM) software and solutions, today announce that Chief Technology Officer, Mr Minren Guan, has been appointed to the Board of Directors, with effect from 3 July 2007.

Mr Minren Guan has been Chief Technology Officer of GEONG since joining the Company in September 2000. Prior to this he served as the technical support leader of the Banking & Financial Services Institute team at IBM China from 1995 to 2000, which included a period working at IBM's WebSphere Research and Development Laboratory.

In 1996/7 Minren Guan participated in the Association of Computing Machinery's International Collegiate Programming Competition, an international computer programming competition sponsored by IBM, and came 2nd in the Asia regional. He received his Masters degree in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiaotong University, China.

Commenting on Mr. Minren Guan's appointment to the Board, GEONG's Chairman Henry Tse said: "I am delighted to welcome Mr. Minren Guan to the Board. His appointment is well deserved and reflects the contribution he has made to the development and growth of GEONG over the last seven years.

Minren Guan's extensive technical knowledge will also provide added strength to the Board as we continue to implement GEONG's plans for growth. This appointment also demonstrates our commitment to provide talented employees with the opportunity to progress within the Company."

There are no further details that are required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.
