NEW BASE IN INDIA
Hangar8 bases Citation XLS in Mumbai
Hangar 8 plc, one of Europe's largest operators of privately owned passenger jet aircraft, today announces that it has entered into an agreement to base a Citation XLS in Mumbai. The Company believes that the Indian market is now sufficiently mature for the location of Company aircraft in the region and operations will be for both local and international flights.
Dustin Dryden, Chief Executive of Hangar8 said:
''Establishing a base for Hangar8 in India is a further step towards achieving our stated aim of being able to provide an aircraft to a charter customer at any airport in any EMEA location within three hours of an order being confirmed. This will assist us both with our existing operations within the Middle East and also satisfy the growth in demand for our services in the Far East."
