Appointment of Senior Technical Adviser and Consultant Geologist

Galileo Resources plc ("GLR" or the "Company") the exploration and resource development company is pleased to confirm the appointment of Mr Mike Holman (Mike) as senior adviser for all high-level geological matters related to the Company's projects in Africa.  Mike is an experienced Minerals Industry Professional with a BSc (Hons) in Geology and MSc in Mining Geology, is a Fellow of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy with a career spanning over 38 years in the mineral resources sector. Mike spent 16 years at Anglo American plc's Exploration Divison up until 2013 including as Regional Head of Exploration Africa.

In addition, the Company welcomes Mr Hunter Kennedy, who has senior geological experience within Southern Africa. 

Mike Holman will provide both conceptual and direct geological input across all projects and Hunter Kennedy has assumed day to day responsibility for a number of projects in the southern African portfolio.

Colin Bird Executive Chairman commented "We have an extremely exciting portfolio within Galileo and Mike has been appointed to add high level advise generally but specifically for the newly acquired North-western Licence in Zambia and the Shinganda Project, which is demonstrating significant potential. The appointment of someone of Mike's senority was considered necessary by the Board, against the background of recent acquisitions and project progress. We have appointed Hunter Kennedy to our team as a senior consultant, since in previous assignments he has demonstrated dedication and unusual conceptual ability when approaching geological issues. I welcome both to the team and look forward to their contribution to our enviable portfolio of projects."
