EGM results
Global Ports Investments PLC ("Global Ports" or the "Company", together with its subsidiaries and joint ventures, the "Group" or the "Global Ports Group"; LSE ticker: GLPR) announces the results of the Company's Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held today under the chairmanship of Mr. Konstantin Shirokov, Non-Executive Director.
The EGM was held at KIBC, Office 201, Profiti Ilia Str, 4, Germasogeia, CY-4046, Limassol, Cyprus on 02 March 2018 at 10-00am (Cyprus time) and had a quorum with 422,713,415 ordinary shares of the Company, which constitutes 100% of the issued share capital of the Company entitled to participate in this meeting and vote on the matters of the agenda.
The EGM adopted the following resolutions:
1. To elect Mr. Soren Sjostrand Jakobsen as a director of the Company until the next annual general meeting of shareholders of the Company with no remuneration.

Mr. Soren Sjostrand Jakobsen
Mr. Jakobsen has been with the A.P. Moller - Maersk group for more than 37 years, the last 13 years with APM Terminals. Initially he was based in Panama as Regional Manager for Latin America, then for 5 years he was in the Netherlands as Global Head of Project Implementation and since 2013 he has been in Dubai as Portfolio Manager for the joint venture terminals in Africa, Middle East & South Asia. Prior to joining APM Terminals, Mr. Jakobsen worked for other business units in the Group a.o. Maersk Line and Svitzer. As a Portfolio Manager Soren is responsible for 8 APM Terminals' port & terminal business units in the region as well as several logistics entities. Mr. Jakobsen is also a member of the board of other APM Terminals entities.

Global Ports Investments PLC is the leading operator of container terminals in the Russian market.
Global Ports' terminals are located in the Baltic and Far East Basins, key regions for foreign trade cargo flows. Global Ports operates five container terminals in Russia (Petrolesport, First Container Terminal, Ust-Luga Container Terminal1 and Moby Dik2 in the Russian Baltics, and Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company in the Russian Far East) and two container terminals in Finland3 (Multi-Link Terminals in Helsinki and Kotka). Global Ports' major shareholders are Transportation Investments Holding Limited (operating under the brand name of N-Trans), one of the largest private transportation and infrastructure groups in Russia (30.75%), and APM Terminals B.V. (30.75%), whose core expertise is the design, construction, management and operation of ports, terminals and inland services. APM Terminals operates a global terminal network of 76 ports and 117 inland services facilities, giving the company a global presence in 59 countries. 20.5% of Global Ports shares are traded in the form of global depositary receipts listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE ticker: GLPR).
