Completion of Initial US$15 million Buyback Programme

Gulf Keystone Petroleum is pleased to announce that following the purchase of ordinary shares on 30 August 2019, the Company's initial US$15 million share buyback programme announced on 8 July 2019 was completed.

In aggregate, between 8 July 2019 and 30 August 2019, the Company repurchased 5,225,933 ordinary shares at a VWAP of 234.00 pence per share.

Following the above transaction, the Company's issued share capital comprises 229,429,566 ordinary shares, of which 5,225,933 ordinary shares are held in treasury. The Company now has a total of 224,203,633 ordinary shares in issue with voting rights. This figure should be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

The Company will update the market once it has initiated the remainder of the buyback programme up to a maximum of US$25 million as announced 8 July 2019.
