RE-COMMENCEMENT OF OPERATIONS AT CAIJIAYING
27th March 2009.
Further to the announcement made on 19th December 2008, Griffin Mining Ltd ("Griffin" or "the Company") is pleased to announce production at the Caijiaying zinc-gold mine is anticipated to recommence on the 1st of June 2009. The restart of operations has been slightly delayed due to production of zinc, gold, silver and metal in concentrate continuing into February 2009 as ore stockpiles were utilised, as a result of which upgrade and maintenance work on the plant commenced later than expected. In addition, work was delayed by components not reaching site and outdoor work being compromised by the unusually harsh winter weather conditions at Caijiaying. This work will be completed shortly.
