Transaction in Own Shares

Gem Diamonds Limited announces that on 24 May 2022 it purchased 32,025 of its ordinary shares from Liberum Capital Limited (acting as the Company's broker) on the London Stock Exchange at an average price of 60.03 pence per share, as part of the Company's buyback programme announced on 12 April 2022. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 1,256,477 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 139,491,500.
