UPDATE ONĀ KENYAĀ PROJECT

Global Petroleum LimitedĀ ("the Company")Ā advises thatĀ after seeking legal advice,Ā notice has been given to Woodside Energy (Kenya) Pty Limited ("Woodside")Ā terminatingĀ the Farm-In Agreement ("FIA") relating to certain interests in the Lamu Basin,Ā offshore Kenya.

TheĀ terminationĀ notice has been given based onĀ Woodside'sĀ refusal to drill a second exploratory well in the project area in accordance with the FIA and its failure to take any steps to remedy thisĀ refusal, which the Company considers to beĀ a repudiationĀ and breachĀ of the FIA.

The CompanyĀ and joint venture partner Dana Petroleum (E&P) LimitedĀ have advised Woodside thatĀ theyĀ intendĀ to issueĀ legal proceedings to recover losses suffered as a result.

Further announcements will be made by the Company as appropriate.
