Global Petroleum has today announced on the ASX that 65,796 ordinary shares were acquired on 28 April 2009 by Mr Peter Blakey, non-executive director of the Company, on market at an average price of A$0.215 (approximately 11p). Mr Blakey's overall interest in the fully issued ordinary shares of Global Petroleum Limited is 29,949,718 (17.2 per cent.).
