Directors' Interests in shares

Global Petroleum Limited (the "Company")

Global Petroleum has today announced on the ASX that 400,000 ordinary shares were sold between 7 January 2010 and 11 January 2010 by TM Services Limited, a company controlled jointly by Messrs PeterBlakey and Peter Taylor, on market at an average price of A$0.18 (approximately 10.4p). In addition, 93,626 ordinary shares were acquired by Mr Taylor on 8 January 2010 on market at an average price of $0.1875 (approximately 10.8p). Messrs Taylor and Blakey's overall interests in the fully issued ordinary shares of Global Petroleum Limited are 29,841,471 (17.1 per cent.) and 28,699,718 (16.5 per cent.) respectively.
