Directors' Shareholdings

Further to the completion of the acquisition of Jupiter Petroleum Limited ("Acquisition") and the general meeting of shareholders held on 19 August 2011, Global Petroleum Limited ("Global" or "Company") has today been notified of the following changes in the interests of certain directors of the Company

Mr Peter Blakey has today been issued with 12,500,000 new ordinary shares of no par value in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") as consideration for the Acquisition and as a result is now interested, directly and indirectly, in an aggregate 40,935,548 Ordinary Shares, representing 20.52 per cent. of the issued share capital of Global. This figure includes 2,636,905 Ordinary Shares held by TM Services Limited, a company controlled jointly by Peter Blakey and Peter Taylor.

Mr Peter Taylor has today been issued with 12,500,000 new Ordinary Shares as consideration for the Acquisition and as a result is now interested, directly and indirectly, in an aggregate 42,292,127 Ordinary Shares, representing 21.20 per cent. of the issued share capital of Global. This figure includes 2,636,905 Ordinary Shares held by TM Services Limited, a company controlled jointly by Peter Taylor and Peter Blakey.

Mr Clint McGhie has today been granted 300,000 options to acquire Ordinary Shares exercisable at a price of 25¢ per share at any time until 30 June 2014. Mr McGhie holds no other interest in Ordinary Shares.
