Gattaca plc (the Company), the specialist Engineering and Technology staffing solutions business, announces that the Company has established an employee benefit trust (the "EBT"), which will be managed externally by an independent trustee. The EBT is expected to acquire, through on-market purchases, the Company's existing ordinary shares of £0.01 each in order to satisfy potential future option exercises.
It is the intention of the Board that the EBT will conduct annual market purchases, initially of approximately 80,000 shares in aggregate, in equal monthly instalments. Market purchases will be assessed thereafter on an annual basis, depending on the vesting schedule of existing unexercised options and anticipated new option grants.
