ISSUE OF EQUITY

Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of antennas, filters and mmWave products for the wireless telecoms and critical communications markets, announces that the Company has issued 524,519 new Ordinary Shares 0.1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") as a result of an exercise of options under the Company's Sharesave Plan.

Application has been made for the 524,519 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that the dealings in these new Ordinary Shares will commence on 7 June 2019. The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.

Following Admission, the Company will have in issue a total of 208,653,466 Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury.
