FIRST QUANTUM MINERALS DECLARES AN INTERIM DIVIDEND OF CDN $0.0583 PER SHARE

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. ("First Quantum" or the "Company", TSX Symbol "FM", LSE Symbol "FQM") will pay an interim dividend of Cdn $0.0583 per share in respect of the financial year ended December 31, 2013.

The dividend will be paid on September 19, 2013 to shareholders of record on August 28, 2013. The ex-dividend date is August 26, 2013. 

The dividends paid are considered eligible dividends for Canadian tax purposes.
