Fletcher King PLC08 June 2005 Not for release before 07.00 June 8 2005 FLETCHER KING PLC TRADING STATEMENT Fletcher King ("the Company"), the London based Chartered Surveyors and PropertyAsset Managers, today announces a trading update for the year ending 30th April2005. In its Interim Results on 21st January 2005, the Company reported that itanticipated that activity would continue at a satisfactory level for theremainder of the year and that the prospects for the second half looked good. Fletcher King is now pleased to report that activity in the second half,especially in the last quarter, has been ahead of these expectations in allareas of its business with no emphasis on any particular department ortransaction. Fletcher King now expects pre-tax profits for the year ending 30thApril 2005 to be significantly ahead of market expectation. The Board thereforeexpects to reflect this better than anticipated financial performance in theFinal Dividend payment. The preliminary results for the year ending 30th April 2005 will be announced inthe middle of July.
