Total Voting Rights & Change to Accounting Reference Date
In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company makes the following declaration:
As at 2 July 2012, the issued share capital and voting rights of the Company are as follows:
The Company's issued share capital consists of 1,311,830,135 Ordinary GBP0.01 shares with voting rights attached (one vote per Ordinary share).
Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 1,311,830,135.
The above total voting rights figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
The Company further announces that, following the successful completion of the acquisition of Lonrho Plc's airline division, the Board of Rubicon has resolved to change the Company's accounting reference date from 30th June to 31st December to fall in line with Lonrho Plc's accounting reference date and accordingly the current period will be extended to include the 18 months to 31st December 2012.
Due to the change in accounting reference date the Company's reporting calendar will be as follows:
- interim results for the six months ending 30 June 2012 published by 30 September 2012
- results for the 18 months ending 31 December 2012 published by 30 April 2013
- interim results for the six months ending 30 June 2013 published by 30 September 2013
Thereafter, interim and annual reports will be published each year for the 6 months to 30 June and 12 months to 31 December respectively, in accordance with the AIM Rules for Companies.
