Finsbury Food Group PLC14 July 2005 Date: 14 July 2005On behalf of: Finsbury Food Group plcUnder embargo until: 0730hrs Finsbury Food Group plc ("the Company")GRANT OF OPTIONS OVER SHARES On 14th July 2005 the Remuneration Committee granted options over a total of165,000 ordinary shares to the Executive Directors and senior management of theCompany in accordance with its obligations under the Long Term Incentive Planthat was adopted on 3rd September 2004. Of these, options over 40,000 and 50,000 shares were granted to David Brooks(the Chief Executive) and John Lomer (the Finance Director) respectively. Theseoptions were granted in terms of the Company's EMI Share Option Scheme with anexercise price of 52.5p each. The proportion of options that will vest dependsupon the growth in fully diluted earnings per share over a five-year period.The earliest vesting day is the day after the announcement of the results forthe financial year ending five years from the date of grant.
