Fyffes reaffirms 2009 earnings target

Fyffes has previously indicated that it is targeting an Adjusted EBIT* for 2009 in the range of €14m-€18m. Trading in the year to date has been in line with expectations and, while it is relatively early in the year, Fyffes remains on course to achieve its earnings target for 2009.

* Adjusted EBIT excludes amortisation charges, the Group's 40% share of the results of Blackrock International Land plc and exceptional items.
