Russell has over 30 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas business. Agraduate of Imperial College he started his career with Phillips Petroleumand has held executive positions with Kerr McGee, Lasmo North Sea where he wasManaging Director and Bitech Petroleum as CEO . Latterly he wasinstrumental in the building of Intrepid Energy, a private start-up companywhich was sold for over US$1billion in 2004. Russell has extensive internationalexperience and has been involved in the oil and gas industry around the worldincluding the UK, USA, Norway, the Middle East, Russia and the CIS.Russell is a director of Harvey Oil & Gas Ltd.
