Appointment of Director
The Board of First Derivatives plc ("First Derivatives" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of Kevin Cunningham as Director from 15 January 2009.
Kevin, who is based in USA, is the co-founder and CEO of Market Resource Partners (“MRP”) which was acquired by First Derivatives on 15 September 2008. As CEO, Kevin co-created MRP's sales and operational structure that helped drive growth from two to 95 employees and grew revenues by 300% in less than five years with no outside capital investment. As CEO he is responsible for providing overall strategic direction and leadership for MRP. Prior to MRP, he held various sales and consulting positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers and several software companies. Kevin also sits on the Board of Directors of Settlement Music School, the largest non-profit community based school of the arts in the United States. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware.
Commenting on the appointment, Brian Conlon, Managing Director said "Kevin is a significant addition to the team and will play an important role in helping the executive team execute our strategic plan. His location, experience in marketing along with his background in finance will be important in assisting the Company meet its growth targets especially in the USA.
Kevin Cunningham, aged 36, is currently a director of Market Resource Partners Limited.
There are no other details required to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
