Exillon Energy plc ("Exillon" or the "Company")

Exillon notes the announcement issued by Seneal International Agency Ltd, a company ultimately controlled by Alexei Khotin who is the ultimate beneficial owner of the RusOil group, yesterday that it does not intend to make an offer for the Company under Rule 2.8 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers (the "Takeover Code"). Accordingly, Exillon is no longer in an offer period for the purposes of the Takeover Code.

Exillon is no longer actively engaged with any parties in relation to an offer for the Company and is also not aware of any parties that have declared in public their interest in potentially making an offer for the Company.

The Board of Exillon is pleased that the sale process that has been conducted over the past three months has helped to demonstrate the value of the Company's assets. The Board of Exillon is committed to working constructively with its new shareholders to deliver value for all shareholders.
