Completion of First Placing / Issue of Equity
On 27 February 2013, e-Therapeutics plc (AIM: ETX) announced that it had gained shareholder approval to raise £40 million by issuing new equity through two share placings. The Company today announces that the First Placing of 4,750,000 new ordinary shares has been completed following the admission of these shares to trading on AIM.
The number of ordinary shares in the Company in issue is now 142,972,468. The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, e-Therapeutics plc under the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
The Company has today issued and allotted a further 120,250,000 new ordinary shares to effect the Second Placing. Application has been made to admit the 120,250,000 new ordinary shares to trading on AIM and dealings in these shares are expected to commence on 1 March 2013.
