Rookie Blue commissioned for fifth series
Entertainment One Ltd., the international entertainment group, is pleased to announce that Rookie Blue, its US cop drama, has been commissioned for a fifth series and will continue to be aired on ABC in the US and Global in Canada.
Rookie Blue has been ABC's leading summer drama and is currently the most watched programme in its timeslot on Global with over 1.5 million viewers.
eOne handles the worldwide rights to the series, in all media, and has sold the series in over 190 territories including the UK, France and Australia.
This adds to the string of eOne's successful series renewals including season two of Rogue, DIRECTV's first original scripted series starring Thandie Newton; season three of Hell on Wheels on AMC; season four of Call Me Fitz on DIRECTV and HBO Canada; season two of Saving Hope on CTV; season four of Syfy's Haven and season two of Mary Mary on WeTV.
