Acquisition of stake in The Mark Gordon Company
Completion of acquisition of a 51% stake in The Mark Gordon Companyto create a new television and film studio joint venture
Entertainment One Ltd. announces the completion of its acquisition of a 51% stake in The Mark Gordon Company creating an independent studio joint venture that will produce and finance premium television and film content for the major US networks and international distribution.
The partnership unites one of the world's most successful television and film producers with eOne's extensive international distribution network to create a leading television and film production company with global reach.
Following completion and in order to satisfy consideration for the acquisition, application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for 1,082,568 common shares in Entertainment One Ltd. to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. The shares shall rank pari passu with the existing common shares of the Company and it is expected that admission will take place on 9 January 2015.
