BP AMERICA A-740 #1 WELL UPDATE

Empyrean Energy Plc is pleased to announce that it has been advised by the operator, Krescent Energy Company LLC ("Krescent"), that since reaching TD and running logs at the BP America A-740 #1 well production casing has been run and a short test conducted.

Following the short flow test, the well has been shut in, to be connected to a sales line.

Following connection to the sales line, the well will be flowed for a longer period of time to determine stabilized flow rates and the possibility of having to perform stimulating operations on the well.

A further announcement will be made once the well is connected to sales and stabilized rates have been achieved.

Empyrean has a 10% working interest in this well.

Further updates will be provided as significant events occur.
