Electra Private Equity PLC ("Electra") notes the press coverage over the weekend in relation to the Vasanta Group and especially the valuation of Electra's investment in the Vasanta Group. Electra confirms that as at 31 March 2009 this investment was valued at £1.5 million and not £28 million as reported in the press. Electra's net asset value as at 31 March 2009 was 1,512p of which the Vasanta investment represented 4p.
