Board Appointment
Electra Private Equity plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Roger Perkin as a Non-Executive Director, effective from 24 November.
Roger is a former senior partner at Ernst & Young with significant global accounting experience and financial services expertise. As part of his duties, Roger will become chairman of Electra's Audit Committee after the annual general meeting in 2010.Â
Roger spent 40 years at Ernst & Young and its predecessor firms, including over 30 years as a partner, working with a wide range of clients before specialising in financial services. He was lead auditor of UBS from 1998 to 2005 as well as for clients including 3i, Resolution and Henderson.
Roger's experience also includes risk management, transaction advice, distressed assets and forensic investigations, board operations and corporate strategy. He recently provided input to Sir David Walker in his work on corporate governance in financial services, focusing on risk management.
