Operations Update

Eland Oil & Gas PLC (AIM: ELA), an oil & gas development and exploration company operating in West Africa with an initial focus on Nigeria, announces the following update on activities for the OML 40 licence, located onshore Nigeria.

The rehabilitation work on the Opuama flowstation has now been completed and we have entered the pre-commissioning and testing phase, including the testing of the final section of the 12 inch export line. We expect commencement of production shortly following the successful completion of pre-commissioning and testing.

Eland look forward to the commencement of a successful drilling campaign in 2014 to develop the Opuama field.
