New non-executive director

eg solutions plc (AIM: EGS), the back office optimisation software company, is pleased to announce that Mark Brady will join the Board today as a non-executive Director. He will become chairman of the Company's remuneration committee and serve on the audit committee.

Mark Brady is a chartered accountant and corporate financier with over 25 years' experience in advising both publicly quoted and private companies. Mark is a founding partner of SPARK Advisory Partners Limited, an independent mid-market corporate advisory business, and has held a number of senior positions in other financial advisory companies. Mark served as chairman of the Quoted Companies Alliance ("QCA") from 2005 to 2007, an independent membership organisation that champions the interests of small to mid-size quoted companies, where he contributed to the drafting of the Corporate Governance Guide for Smaller Quoted Companies, which has become the standard for AIM quoted companies to follow.

Mark David Brady (age 52) is currently a director of SPARK Advisory Partners Limited and SPARK APH Limited. There is no further information required to be disclosed in respect of Mr Brady pursuant to Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
