Directors' Shareholdings
Emerald Energy Plc (the "Company") announces that on 18 March 2009 it granted, under the terms of the Emerald Energy Plc Discretionary Share Option Scheme, 900,000 of Tranche M share options (the "Share Options") over the Company's ordinary shares of 10 pence each (the "Ordinary Shares") to certain of its employees and directors. The exercise price for each of the Share Options is £4.25 and they may be exercised between 18 March 2010 and 18 March 2014. No payment was made in respect of the grant of the Share Options.
Details of the Share Options issued to the Company's directors and the interests of the Company's directors in options over Ordinary Shares are as follows:
