Emerald Energy PLC02 March 2005 Emerald Energy PLC Block Listing Application Emerald Energy PLC (the "Company") today announces that it will be making ablock listing application to the UK Listing Authority and the London StockExchange for up to 4,950,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("Ordinary Shares)in the Company to trade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to theOfficial List upon issuance. The block listing application will cover up to 4,950,000 Ordinary Shares thatcan be issued pursuant to the exercise of options under the Emerald Energy 1999Share Option Scheme.
