Halting of Trading in I Shares
On 18 November 2021, the Company declared an interim dividend of 3.39p per I share, to be paid on 6 December 2021 to all holders of I shares on the Company's I share register as at close of business on 26 November 2021. The ex-dividend date is 25 November 2021.
As already announced by the Company, the forthcoming dividend in respect of each I share represents the entire net asset value per I share. Accordingly, trading of I shares on the London Stock Exchange will be halted with effect from 7.30 a.m. 25 November 2021 Greenwich Mean Time.
The Company has already announced that the Board intends to invoke the provisions in the Company's articles of association whereby all of the I shares will be converted to H shares (if any) and deferred shares. A further announcement on that conversion will be issued by the Company in the coming days. It is expected that the halt that is to be placed on the trading of the I shares will remain in effect until completion of such conversion.
