ECOFIN WATER & POWER OPPORTUNITIES PLC (the "Company")
The Company was notified today that Mr John Murray, Chairman of the Investment Manager, Ecofin Limited ("Ecofin"), made the following purchases registered in the name of JHM Limited:
On Wednesday, 4 June, 2014, purchased 100,000 Ordinary 0.1p Shares in the capital of the Company at a price of 158 pence per Ordinary Share; and
On Thursday, 5 June, 2014, purchased 300,000 Ordinary 0.1p Shares in the capital of the Company at a price of 158 pence per Ordinary Share.
As a result of these purchases, Mr Murray's aggregate holding of shares in the Company is now 1,203,235 Ordinary Shares representing 0.57% of the Company's issued share capital.
As disclosed in the Company's most recent Annual Report and Accounts, in addition to the direct shareholdings shown above, Ecofin Holdings Limited, a company in which Mr Murray is interested owns 3,382,251 Ordinary Shares and Ecofin's International Pension Plan, of which Mr Murray is a member, has an interest in 7,931,500 Ordinary Shares. A Trust associated with Mr Murray owns another 500,000 Ordinary Shares.
