Ecofin Water & Power Opportunities plc (the "Company")
Result of Second General Meeting
The Board is pleased to announce that the special resolution to put the Company into liquidation was approved by the Company's shareholders at the Second General Meeting held earlier today.
A copy of the special resolution will shortly be available on the National Storage Mechanism at http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.
Accordingly, the Company has been placed into members' voluntary liquidation and Patrick Brazzill and Richard Barker, both of Ernst & Young LLP of 1 More London, London SE1 2AF, were appointed as liquidators with effect from the conclusion of the Second General Meeting.
Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the listings and admissions to trading of each of the Reclassified Shares to be cancelled at 8.00 a.m. on 31 October 2016.
On 26 September 2016, the new shares in Ecofin Global Utilities and Infrastructure Trust plc will be admitted to the Official List of the FCA and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and the new shares in EF Realisation Company Limited will be admitted to trading on the Specialist Fund Segment of the London Stock Exchange. Details of the new shares have been set out below:
